Le Procureur Soleil de la Republique?

KHOU-TV put up PDFs of some of Harris County District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal’s emails here and here. It turns out that Chuck uses (or was using) the email address “l’etat@dao.hctx.net”. How very Louis XIV.

    Priceless.

What makes these emails so dangerous for the District Attorney is that they *humanize* him, his office, and the entire CJ process.

If word got out that prosecutors are (gasp) living, breathing human beings like the rest of us, the fallout would be too much for them to handle! It would chip away and erode their prosecutorial sanctimony, which is one of the big tools in their toolbox.
