Harris County DA’s Diversity Policy is “Pretty Much Ignored”

The general counsel for the Harris County DA’s office says that the DA’s operations manual provision related to diversity and equal employment, which has been policy since 1993, is “pretty much ignored as far as our actual hiring practices are concerned.”

    Mark,

    There’s no doubt that Harris County needs cease it’s current thinking about juvenile offenders coming from Harris County into the TYC, as we are well populated with these offenders from your area. Please push for alteratives and keep these parents involved - being a parent, a tax payer, and a responsible citizen of my state, I think we need to think out of the box when it comes to this population. Please explore and push. - Whitsfoe
