Ever had a judge say to you that he/she can&#039;t set a lower bail because what if he releases the defendant on bond and the defendant commits another offense, drives drunk, or does something else the public finds offensive? How about the draconian sentences that they hand out, because the &quot;public&quot; demands it? Odd how they spend so much time pandering to the basest instincts of the public, and spend the rest of the time crouching in their robes, shielded from accountability and decency by their immunity.</description>
