We, Mark and Jennifer Bennett, are a husband-and-wife team of criminal defense lawyers representing people charged with serious crimes -- misdemeanors (including DUI/DWI) and felonies -- in state and federal courts in Texas and across the U.S. The Houston Chronicle describes Mark as a "philosopher/criminal defense attorney." He is rated 10.0/10 by Avvo.com. He was named one of the top criminal lawyers in Houston in 2004 by H Texas Magazine. He is also the president of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association. He is, however, most proud of the many great reviews he gets from clients who he has helped with their criminal cases.

Our principal office is downtown in Houston, Harris County, Texas -- the fourth-biggest city in the U.S.

We have represented people successfully on cases from shoplifting to murder, including many driving while intoxicated (DWI, known elsewhere as DUI) and drug conspiracy cases, and a large number of white-collar cases in Texas state courts and federal courts nationwide. This site includes a listing of some of the cases we have won.

We are producing Legal First Aid sheets telling you what to do in certain criminal-defense related situations. So far we've written Legal First Aid -- DWI Edition, Legal First Aid -- Search Warrant Edition, and Legal First Aid -- Arrest Edition.

Law and Justice Explained.
