    Go Garland “Mack” McInnis

We need more former presidents of the Harris County Criminal Defense Lawyers on the bench.

Yeah, like Lloyd Oliver. Or Woody Densen.

I like Mack, but I’m not prepared to say that he’d be a better judge than Belinda Hill.

So all the County Courts at Law (Criminal, I assume) are up for election every four years?

    • Mark Bennett September 14, 2010 at 6:16 pm - Reply

All of them. County Civil Courts at Law too.

The county court judges were pretty clever when they got their elections scheduled in off-years.
